GUA SHA STONE THERAPY

Gua Sha is a simple yet effective health modality that has its roots in ancient Traditional Chinese Medicine.  The people of that time carved stones and used them to press and scrape the tissues and muscles to relieve pain and invoke healing.  Gua Sha Therapy also known as Bian Stone Therapy or tool assisted massage, is considered a precursor to Acupuncture with its ability to move energy in the muscles, joints and systems of the body through focused attention to particular areas along the channels that run along the front, back and side of the body.  The result?  More energy, vitality and joy.

Pamela Wake Gua Sha Guru

As a Licensed Acupuncturist and practitioner of Chinese Medicine for over 12 years, I know that we don't have to inflict more pain and trauma on the body to invoke healing. The use of Gua Sha Therapy releases constraint and increases blood flow, facilitating the movement of metabolic waste from the lymph and muscles, decreasing inflammation.  This creates immediate relief from pain, increased mobility and strength so you can engage in all of the activities you enjoy and stay healthy.  I invite you to attend one of our Gua Sha Workshops in Phoenix, and use our online Gua Sha training system to transform the quality of your health mind, body and spirit.

OUR TOOLS

Best facial Gua Sha Tool
Gua Sha Tools made of Bian Stone

As an Acupuncturist, finding the best tools for function and effectiveness was very important to me.  I researched and vetted each tool and use them personally as a daily health ritual.

The customized Bian Stone Gua Sha tools fit the varied contours of the body and offer options in type of pressure and function, depending on your need and preference.

  • The one-of-a-kind multi-faceted Winged tool is ideal for facial rejuvenation and body work as it connects with multiple layers of muscle and tissue and the different edges are invigorating, plumping and useful for acupressure on tight muscles and joints.

  • The Comb Gua Sha Tool is stimulating and strongly moves stagnant energy in muscles, joints, tissue and fascia.

  • The rounded edges of the Heart Gua Sha tool restores and more gently invokes energy around focused areas of the body, such as small bones and muscles.

  • The slim Fish Gua Sha tool reaches multiple muscle groups and is useful for intentional pressure along tight muscles and tissue.

  • Made of Bian Stone, the tools are substantial in weight and size ranging from 4 to 4.5 inches, and are known for their strength and far infrared energy
